The traffic alert feature has not been real useful. I have no idea how this works but suspect that it is dependent on some local system to upload traffic conditions which may not be activated in our area. Probably more useful in more metropolitan areas.

The battery life is great. I can take several extensive photoshoots before having to charge the battery. I use the manual settings more than the auto settings because I can set the AF points for more creative shots. The photo quality is great and images are sharp with good color. I was debating between this product and the Canon XSi and I learned that this camera is like the laptop compaired to the XSi as the old desktop. This is the newest product but is fantastic. Love the menu they put on this camera and the lens that comes with the kit is a pretty good quality lens. its easy point shoot is so much fun and worth it! I enjoy trying all the fuctions, easy to read manual, gives plenty of pointers for those who are not professionals. Canon EOS Rebel T3 is a great camera.

I have this lens since October 07 and use it primarily for nature photography. Because of its portability, it has now become my favorite lens. Thanks to its outstanding imaging performance already at full aperture, I can not use so even with optimal light conditions freehand. However, I’m usually a monopod while the yield increased tremendously the image. Not only the optical performance is brilliant, the mechanical production is first class. The autofocus is very quiet and ultra-fast, by the internal focus is changing the overall length and thus the weight distribution is not!, Benefit is there still the ultimate price for so much quality it is absolutely fantastic.

I purchased this lens shortly before our first trip in Rome to take pictures in museums and churches without flash can. I’m not a pixel counter, but orient myself in the evaluation of these look particularly at the resulting images. And they’re great. On my D70s Nikkor delivers sharp images and balanced. With ISO 400 in the Vatican Museums? No problem. The rather dark Egyptian department? Nothing blurred. I had taken to the safety nor the 18-200 VR. Actually, the classic travel zoom.
